Back on the road

Long time no write!

After four and a half months stuck in Belgium it was time to go out again. From a life where you sleep in a comfortable bed every night, wake up, get behind your desk and memorize books, eat a lot,... Basically where everything is the same. Towards a lifestyle of sleeping under a rock, wind blowing and waking you up in the morning, reading good books like 'Revelations' of Jerry Moffat, climbing all day long, sitting in coffee shops during rainy periods, hitchhiking to get food in town, speaking four different languages each day, enjoying every single moment of the day, ...

It's been a while but I really needed it, being out again and deal with the basic things in the life of a climber. So much fun. Right now I'm in Siurana, Spain. I don't have a car and I like it, I'm a little dependent of others now but I'm still trying to make own decisions. The plan was to go to Oliana, but due to snowy and cold weather I'm hanging out in Siurana together with Mich and a fun group of Brits! I might go to Oliana or Margalef soon, I'll see what the weather is like.

I have time until the 12th of february, when I fly back. Soon after I return a series of lectures I'll be giving in february and march are waiting on me. Lectures about the climbing and trips I've done the last few years. And for sure I'll present the movie I made of the Venezuela expedition with Mason, Sam and George. More information about those lectures will follow in the next couple of days.

I'll keep you up to date!
